Backstory:
When Willie Nelson's daughter, Amy, heard that U.S. border officials were separating children from their parents, she called him in tears.
He calmly told her to gather all who are like minded together to make a plan to help these families.

Amy reached out to Grassroots Leadership, who have been on the front lines working to reunite immigrant families, and offering support and legal aid to those in need. Through them she met the women of Mujeres Luchadoras, a group of formerly detained women who fight for the freedom of immigrants and asylum-seekers who have yet to be released. They asked her to help to amplify their voices.

Willie wrote a poem in support of the cause. It is called “Love On the Border”.
